Shane Wiles

Shane entered the landscape design profession in 2004, with a flair for designing hard and soft elements in both residential and commercial projects. Since 2004 Shane has been part of a team that has won over 25 Landscape design awards. An efficient worker, Shane is competent of handling multiple projects and is well versed in 3D conceptual illustration.
Shane’s experience spans across a wide range of landscape projects including environmental, commercial, public open space, streetscapes, institutional and private mixed-use residential developments. His practical knowledge in design and project management as well as estimating makes him a proficient all-round designer and build manager.

Mark Read

Over the last 30 years, Mark Read has been principal designer for more than 58 award winning entries in New Zealand’s national LNZ awards. At the 2018 Landscaping New Zealand Awards he picked up five design awards, including Gold for Residential design, and a Gold Pin at the 2018 DINZ awards
As one of New Zealand’s top and most prolific residential landscape designers Mark is especially talented in producing innovative, creative design solutions with a strong environmental focus and a superb attention to detail.
His experience extends across a wide range of landscape design projects including residential, commercial, public open space, resorts, water features, streetscape, educational landscapes, retirement villages and subdivision developments. Examples of his work can be found in a number of international design publications.
Mark entered the Landscape industry in 1988, spending 30 years as a key member of NH before forming WR with Shane Wiles. He grew up on orchards, with a strong interest in botany and art and these themes continue to influence the landscapes he designs.

Lauren Vincent

Landscape Architect

Having graduated in 2015 with a bachelor’s in landscape architecture from Unitec, Lauren pursued her career in England working for a small London-based practice. The skills learnt in England have now extended to her work back home in New Zealand. With a keen eye for detail and her passion for plants and plant design along with efficient time management means Lauren has quickly developed into a key member of the team. Lauren is very passionate at managing projects from conceptual phase through to build and has demonstrated initiative and intuition in the office and on site.

Jessica Liddle

Senior Landscape Architect

Graduating from Lincoln University Jessica enjoyed working with Di Lucas in the early years of her career before heading off to Dubai. Large scale projects and unlimited budgets fueled the creativity and experience that she quickly gained in her time working on varied projects in the Middle East. Including residential, commercial, public open space and streetscape. After a brief stint designing high end villas in Thailand, she returned to her roots. Having grown up on the rural outskirts of Auckland, Jessica has a strong passion for plants and the environment which she brings to her designs. Jessica has developed her strengths in commercial and residential design, having worked on several RML award winning projects. She has joined us to passionately further her work in Residential, Commercial, Public open space, Education and Housing industries.

Yolanda Yan

Yolanda graduated from Lincoln university, with a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture. With a passion for plants, and working with the WilesRead team, Yolanda has gained extensive landscape design experience within the Residential, Commercial, Greentech and Housing industries. She is proficient at producing concept plans, planting plans and 3D renderings. Yolanda is passionate about creating spaces that generate a sense of belonging and reflect spirit of place and is enjoying being a key member of the WilesRead team.

Rose Goodwin

Registered Landscape Architect

Rose

A Registered Landscape Architect, Rose has been working in the industry since graduating from Unitec in 2009. Rose has experience working on a range of multi-disciplinary landscape projects including Land development, Housing projects, Public open space, Green infrastructure, Retirement villages, and Health care facilities. Roses involvement in projects ranges from Concept design through to implementation and Contract observation.
Growing up on the rural outskirts of Auckland, Rose developed a passion for plants and the environment. Gaining a Diploma of Visual Arts prior to becoming a Landscape Architect, she enjoys being able to combine her passion for plants and design and apply it to her work.
Rose started her Landscape career gaining hands-on practical experience. This time provided valuable plant knowledge and experience in the practicalities of implementing and maintaining landscapes.
